The day tour will begin with the most famous sites in Cairo: The Pyramids of Giza, including the famous Sphinx (the silent evidence of the great civilization but so expressive). We will also take an opportunity to visit a Papyrus Institute where we will be able to see the process of making Papyrus in ancient times. Your guide and helper will explain everything about the pyramids and answer all your questions. Following this, you will give a visit to the “Egyptian Museum.” Here a vast collection of numerous objects made of gold, bronze, alabaster, silver, and more from Egypt’s most glamorous times are on display. We will start the day at the Citadel of Saladin and the Mosque of Mohammed Ali. You will have some time to stroll through the Coptic area of Cairo where the Romans constructed the fortress of Babylon. Built on the ruins of two towers of the fortress towers is the church of St. Mary, more commonly known as the Hanging Church. Next, you will visit St. Sergius, which is said to be the resting place for the holy family in the afternoon, you will have time to stroll through the famous market area of the Khan el Khalili Bazaar.

Reservations should be made as early as possible to book the desired holiday. Space on a given tour will be secured upon receipt a deposit of 25% of the full price. This payment will be 50% during the Christmas and New Year holidays and on packages including airfare. This deposit counts as part of your final payment. Deposits can be made by bank wire transfer or sent via Western Union or paid using a credit card (Visa or MasterCard). Payment should be received within 7 days of booking.
