Your personal Egyptologist guide will accompany you and provide you with a rich background of these engineering wonders. Determine the amount of time you would like to spend at each site during this private tour.
Depart from your hotel or cruise ship and travel to the High Dam of Aswan. This world-famous High Dam provides electricity for the region while regulating the flooding of the Nile. The construction of the High Dam consists of more material than that used in the Great Pyramids of Cheops.
Continue to the Unfinished Obelisk found in the granite quarries of Aswan. This fascinating obelisk still lies where it was carved. Your qualified Egyptologist guide will explain how the 1-tonne obelisk was carved and why the crack discovered caused it to be abandoned.
