Arrive at Cairo International Airport where you will be met and assisted by our representative will meet and assist you through all airport procedures. Afterward, you will board a flight to Luxor and transfer to your hotel for check-in.
Journey to the West Bank of Luxor and visit the giant statues that once marked the funerary temple of the pharaoh Amenhotep III, the Colossi of Memnon. These massive statues stand proudly on the West Bank of the Nile and are all that remain of the temple.
Continue your guided tour to the former resting place of some of Egypt’s greatest pharaohs, the Valley of the Kings. Buried beneath the arid hills of Luxor are many richly decorated tombs. Amongst the highlights of these tombs is the tomb of Tutankhamun.
Please Note: Entrance to the tomb of Tutankhamun requires a small entrance fee not included in the tour package. Your personal guide will not be permitted to enter with you to prevent overcrowding.
Afterward, transition to the striking Temple of Hatshepsut. This unique temple is unlike many others found in Egypt. Your personal Egyptologist guide will familiarize you with the temple and the fascinating story of Queen Hatshepsut, the female ruler who posed as a male to gain the throne. Roam the open temple ground which is surrounded by limestone cliffs which create a natural amphitheater.
Continue your journey across Luxor as you visit the sprawling Karnak Temple complex. Built over several generations of pharaohs, this ancient site was known as “the most sacred of places.” Your personal Egyptologist will introduce you to the highlights of the temple such as the Great Hypostyle Hall and the Avenue of Sphinxes. Afterward, transition to the nearby Luxor Temple, which was built for rituals and festivals dedicated to the Egyptian deity, Amun.
At the conclusion of your tour, return to your hotel for a relaxing overnight stay.

After breakfast, transfer to Luxor Airport for your return flight to Cairo. Our representative will meet and assist you and then take you to the historic Giza Plateau, home of the Sphinx and Great Pyramids of Giza. Your personal tour guide will introduce you to these timeless monuments and their fascinating history. Afterward, you will have the opportunity to enter the chambers of the pyramids, at an additional cost. Please note, your personal guide will not be permitted to enter with you to avoid overcrowding.
After visiting the Giza Plateau, continue to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities for a fascinating tour of the treasures of Egypt. Browse countless artifacts on display that date across Egypt’s history. The highlight of the museum is the priceless collection of Tutankhamun including his gold-gilded coffins and funerary mask. Your personal guide will introduce you to the most important pieces on display before allowing you to explore the museum at your leisure.
Following your tour of the Egyptian Museum, continue to Khan el-Khalili bazaar and immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere. Browse the large assortment of wares on display by local vendors and artisans. The bazaar has no shortage of goods to select from, regardless of your interest. You may also wish to enjoy a cup of Egyptian tea at the famous coffee shop “El Fishawy” as you enjoy the atmosphere of the bazaar.
At the end of your tour, transfer to Cairo International Airport for your final departure flight.

Reservations should be made as early as possible to book the desired holiday. Space on a given tour will be secured upon receipt a deposit of 25% of the full price. This payment will be 50% during the Christmas and New Year holidays and on packages including airfare. This deposit counts as part of your final payment. Deposits can be made by bank wire transfer or sent via Western Union or paid using a credit card (Visa or MasterCard). Payment should be received within 7 days of booking.

Being in Luxor for a single day is preferable to staying away. The main attractions in Luxor may be seen in one day. You can go to Hatshepsut Temple, the Valley of the Kings, Karnak Temple, and possibly one or two other monuments on a day excursion to Luxor. The truthful response would be that a day trip to Luxor is insufficient.
It is frequently described as the largest open-air museum in the world and for a good cause. You may find a ton of ruins, monuments, temples, and tombs there. You'll need at least two days of Egypt day tours to discover all that Luxor has to offer without feeling rushed.
Unless you travel with a tour group, visiting Luxor on your own can be rather stressful. Luxor has so many archaeological sites and things to do that touring each temple and cemetery may take several days and a lot of money!
There are no set meter rates for cabs in Luxor, although depending on your negotiation skills, the majority of journeys will cost between 5 and 150 Egyptian pounds (approximately $0.50 to $17). Uber and other ride-hailing services are not available in Luxor.
