This royal burial site buried deep beneath the arid hills was once the resting place of Ramses II, Tutankhamun, and other great pharaohs of the New Kingdom. Join your personal Egyptologist guide as you explore these beautifully decorated tombs and learn about their rich history. 

Please Note: Entrance into the tomb of Tutankhamun requires an additional entry fee. Tour guides are not permitted inside to prevent overcrowding. However, your personal guide will tell you what to look for inside these elaborate decorated tombs.

Afterward, visit one of the most striking temples in Egypt, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Wander the  temple grounds surrounded by limestone cliffs, which create a natural amphitheater. Your guide will introduce you to the temple as well as the fascinating history of Queen Hatshepsut. 

As you return to Luxor, you will have the opportunity to visit the Colossi of Memnon. These giant statues were crafted out of granite blocks and once marked the location of the funerary temple of Amenhotep III. They are all that remain of this funerary temple and stand proudly on the West Bank of Luxor to this day.
