Tour Itinerary

Today our guide will accompany you to enjoy seeing and buying the most famous products of ancient Egypt. You will visit the papyrus gallery and perfume and oils store.

Papyrus is a reed that grows on the banks of the Nile River thousands of years ago. The ancient Egyptians made the first paper in history out of its soft part. They made baskets, Sandler, boats, and mats of its green hard part.

During this tour, you will be shown how the paper is made and learn the characteristics that made the papyrus survive for thousands of years. The local artists in Egypt use it nowadays for art and drawing. They paint scenes and figures found on the walls of the tombs and temples. They use all types of ink and colors of your preference. You can buy those masterpieces and hang them on your wall and give it as a valuable gift to somebody.

Following this visit, you will then stop at the perfume and oil store. You will learn the process of extracting the essential oils and perfume essences from flowers and plants. You will be impressed to know that the ancient Egyptians use many oils for aromatherapy. You can find the pure essence of your favorite brand of perfume.

You can find a big collection of handmade glass bottles even you can watch the process of forming and making them.

Everything you think of buying from the places and stores we trust is authentic and guaranteed with reasonable prices.

At the end of the tour, we drop you off back at the hotel.

Your Egypt Tours Reviews

Travel has helped us to understand the meaning of life and it has helped us become better people. Each time we travel, we see the world with new eyes.

Absolutely mind blowing. A definite must see. We flew from Aswan after I contact them, as I did not want to sit in car for hours with my 10-year-old daughter. Just so much history and ancient love. You cannot miss this one thing if you are in Cairo. The rocks are just HUGE, so special.
