Once you arrive there, you will enjoy walking around the Old Village of the Oasis where you will see the enchanting groves of palms and fruit trees. You will then go on a trip to the Black Mountains, the sand dunes and the salt lake. Thereafter, you will continue to the famous Mummies Hall. The Golden mummies were discovered in 1996 when a donkey belonging to an Antiquities guard on duty at the nearby Temple of Alexander got its foot caught in a hole. The donkey eventually freed itself and its owner, Abd El Maugud, notified the Antiquities authority that then discovered the first golden Mummies. You will then proceed to visit Temple of Ain El Muftella which was once the main water source of the old capital of the oasis. Thereafter, you will go to the ruins on a hill, the English House, at sunset and enjoy the panoramic view. In the evening, you will visit the village and shops before you drive back to Cairo

Reservations should be made as early as possible to book the desired holiday. Space on a given tour will be secured upon receipt a deposit of 25% of the full price. This payment will be 50% during the Christmas and New Year holidays and on packages including airfare. This deposit counts as part of your final payment. Deposits can be made by bank wire transfer or sent via Western Union or paid using a credit card (Visa or MasterCard). Payment should be received within 7 days of booking.
