Description

Discover the Bahariya Oasis in one day with Your Egypt Tours. You will drive with your Egyptologist guide to Bahariya Oasis, located 360 kilometers south west of Cairo. Once you arrive there, you will enjoy walking around the Old Village of the Oasis where you will see the enchanting groves of palms and fruit trees. You will then go on a trip to the Black Mountains, the sand dunes and the salt lake. Thereafter, you will continue to the famous Mummies Hall. The Golden mummies were discovered in 1996 when a donkey belonging to an Antiquities guard on duty at the nearby Temple of Alexander got its foot caught in a hole. The donkey eventually freed itself and its owner, Abd El Maugud, notified the Antiquities authority that then discovered the first golden Mummies. You will then proceed to visit Temple of Ain El Muftella which was once the main water source of the old capital of the oasis. Thereafter, you will go to the ruins on a hill, the English House, at sunset and enjoy the panoramic view. In the evening, you will visit the village and shops before you drive back to Cairo

There are a lot of stunning deserts, but none compare to the White Desert. The sheer amount of bizarre rock formations, along with the pristine white color, created a genuinely one-of-a-kind scene.

The best time to visit Egypt's Western Desert is from October to March, when the days are not too hot, and after May the number of tourists decreases and you can enjoy the sites of the Western Desert without crowds.

The White Desert lies about 370 kilometers southwest of Cairo in the Farafra Depression, a small part of Egypt's enormous Western Desert.

Yes, our daily tours in the Western Desert in Egypt are equipped with a tour guide who will accompany you on the daily trips, and there is also a local guide for added safety.

We advise you to stay in Western Sahara for at least two days to enjoy more activities. Our packages are varied with prices starting from $225 to $800.

What They Say About Us

Your Egypt Tours Reviews

Travel has helped us to understand the meaning of life and it has helped us become better people. Each time we travel, we see the world with new eyes.

Absolutely mind blowing. A definite must see. We flew from Aswan after I contact them, as I did not want to sit in car for hours with my 10-year-old daughter. Just so much history and ancient love. You cannot miss this one thing if you are in Cairo. The rocks are just HUGE, so special.

I recently traveled with my wife, daughter, son in law and two grandsons (ages 4 and 2). We had a private tour experience. From the moment we landed at the airport on our arrival to the day we left we were treated with the utmost care and attention

Our trip to was wonderful. The accommodations and travel was seamlessly arranged by customer service rep, Mona, and we visited so many of the famous Egyptian antiquities. I would not have done the trip without the very knowledgeable guides, Ashraf and Mamdouh
